Easy Hotpot

It's so versatile and fuss-free! You can use any broth you like and add your favourite veggies, meats, or tofu. Perfect for a quick, cosy meal the whole family can enjoy.

Ingredients (For 2A & 2C):

Broth:
5 cups of water
5 cups dashi
4 tbsp sake
4 tbsp mirin
4 tbsp soy sauce
Salt to taste

6-8 napa cabbage leaves, separated and cut into smaller pieces
1/4 radish, peeled and cut into bite-size
1 corn, chopped into smaller pieces
1 carrot, peeled and cut into bite-size
1 bunch of shimeji mushrooms
1 bunch of enoki mushrooms
300g of shabu shabu meat 
Frozen udon noodles

Directions:

  1. Prepare the broth in a pot, bring it to a gentle boil.
  2. Wash and cut vegetables into bite-sized pieces.
  3. Pack vegetables nicely in a large shallow pot.
  4. Place the pot in the center of the table (or use a portable stove/hotpot cooker).
  5. Bring to boil, cook and meat and udon noodles with the boiling broth.
